Caregiver
The heart of the house. Personal care, medications, meals, and the ordinary company that makes a place feel lived in. Training provided.
Avian Care is a licensed five-resident group home in Saint Paul. If you have worked somewhere that ran you between twenty people and called it care, you already know why we keep it this size.

You will know everyone's name, routine and preferred mug by the end of your first week. Nobody here is a room number, and that changes what the job feels like.
Awake overnight is a staffed position with a proper handover on both ends, not a cot in the back room. If you work nights, you are part of the team like everyone else.
Nobody starts a shift here unprepared. Here is what has to clear first.
A background check that clears before you start anything.
A TB test, also cleared before your first shift.
Orientation and core training, paid for and finished within your first two weeks.
Licensure where the role calls for it: RN or LPN for the nursing roles, LALD for the director.
We hire when the right person shows up, even when no shift is open. Warmth comes first. The rest we can train. If you do not see your role below, introduce yourself anyway.
The heart of the house. Personal care, medications, meals, and the ordinary company that makes a place feel lived in. Training provided.
Awake overnight, keeping the house safe and being there for whoever cannot sleep. Calm, steady and observant matter more than experience.
Oversee medications and health needs for five residents, and coordinate with the doctors they already have.
Day-to-day clinical support alongside the RN, with a caseload small enough to actually keep track of.
Run the house and own the compliance side of it. LALD licensure required.
